Can u give me your opinion on my writing? #2?

I love your writing. However, the piece doesn't work for me. I think you need to try something a little more daring, you know? Like have this scene be part of a book you write. I LOVE your words, descriptions, and I already like the characters. Just need a little more background on the motivation.
