What is the dummest thing you ever heard someone say about a band/singer?

Young people quickly dismissing older music. Everybody was influenced by someone else. A death metal apocalyptic screaming band has ties to Bowie, Hendrix, King, Lennon, Townshend, SRV, Muddy Waters, and even Charlie Patton.The list could go back to Mozart, and back even further. So to dismiss one type of music right off the bat becasue it is what you are not used to is not cool. I try to keep an open mind about and appreciate the death metal apocalyptic screaming band, by the way....
