See light in pitch darkness?

Some people experience these symptoms when they have a vitreous detachment - a condition that is not normally a concern. However, a retinal detachment can produce similar symptoms, so I would suggest going to an eye doctor for an examination. He/she will do digital imaging of the retina and dilate your eyes to see what is going on.
