Why do you think this happened...weird?

ok so at the dining table, my family was fighting(like always) and in my empty plate a crystal falls and makes a noise(of like when glass hits glass) and when i turn to look up from where it came... there is nothing just a light.. i don't have a chandelier so i cant say it came from that!..weird huh?
