Would this be considered a "Stage Direction"?

it is definatly an aside, an aside is when a character speaks to the audiance and "breaks Character" for the moment. so in the scene if ther is another person on stage they wouldnt have heard this becuase its basically like the character saying their thoughts outloud to us about the situation so we have a clearer idea of what is going on :) hope this helps
